2021 Rady Children’s Hospital- Bonita Unit Fundraiser

The Chadwick Center is an accredited children’s advocacy center (CAC). It is one of the largest hospital -based CACs and trauma treatment centers in the nation. The Center provides family focused and trauma-informed services to children and adolescents who may have experienced or witnessed maltreatment, abuse, or violence.

The Center helps victimized children and their families heal through one of the most respected trauma mental health programs in the nation.

About Us

Bonita is one of the original Auxiliary units formed in 1953 made up of a diverse group that includes working professionals, homemakers and volunteers enjoying retirement. In addition to hailing mainly from the South Bay area, most members have personal experience with Rady Children’s, helping them feel a sense of ownership and pride with their fundraising efforts. Unit meetings are hosted on the fourth Tuesday evening of each month at a member’s home. Each unit within the Auxiliary holds an annual fundraiser dedicated to a specific department or specialty within the hospital. Throughout the years Bonita’s annual fundraiser has been the Annual Luncheon & Auction by the Bay. This event features an exquisite luncheon boasting the largest silent auction across the Auxiliary!
